The Khronos Group, who produce open standards for media authoring, have announced a partnership with Mozilla, the company behind the FireFox browser, to create “an open, royalty-free standard for bringing accelerated 3D graphics to the Web” (Khronos.org).

The interest for branded social networks continues unabated, with many brands and businesses opting for a Facebook fan page to achieve their networking aims. Brands like the PDSA [a Cheeze client] are now harnessing Facebook and associated social content to great effect.
