Bing - don’t believe the hype about the hype
Obviously there is a lot of discussion about Bing and is it any better than Google etc etc. Fair enough. But some of the articles I’ve read leap to conclusions that really don’t hold much water.

On Saturday, Google pressed the wrong button. This button flagged every website as ‘potentially harmful’ meaning any user clicking on a link (free or paid for) was met with a warning of a dangerous site. This warning had the impact of users clicking but not actually arriving to the site.

Yahoo stops content match in the UK

Yahoo has announced that it will stop running content matching targeting in the UK by 31st March 2009. The announcement won’t make much difference to UK campaigns as the content match has been relatively unsuccessful in comparison to other Yahoo targeting and in comparison with Google’s content match.
